Passports: renewal, first passport for children born in the US, lost or damaged passports, and SPLP travel documents. The steps on their page: lapor diri first, then book an online appointment, then come to Houston for photo and fingerprints with your original documents. You can renew from six months before your passport expires.

A short, careful list. We add a place only when the place itself (its sign, menu or website) or a named halal certifier says it is halal, and we write what they say, in their words. IMATX does not certify anything. When in doubt, ask the staff.

Halal Monitoring Services (HMS) certifies hand-slaughtered zabiha meat and lists only places with a current HMS certificate. On 24 October it listed one restaurant near Austin (in Manor) and no grocery stores in Austin.
