How it works
You send the form
A few sentences are enough. You get a reference number on the next screen.
A volunteer editor reads it
If something is missing, we email you from imatx.sec@gmail.com. We check names, dates and photo permission.
We prepare the story
We may shorten it, translate it, or fix spelling, and keep what you meant. For a personal story, or if we change the meaning, we ask you before it goes up.
An IMATX officer approves it
Then it goes on the News page. We email you the link. If we decide not to publish it, we tell you.
Your story
Questions marked (required) must be filled in. Everything else is optional.
What happens to your information
- Your name and email go only to the IMATX volunteer news editors and officers. They are never published.
- Only the approved story is published, with the credit you chose above.
- The form is kept by Netlify, the company that hosts this website. The editors copy it into a private IMATX tracker on Google Workspace that only they can open.
- Editors may use an AI writing assistant (Claude, by Anthropic) to help shorten or translate the story text only, never your name, email or private notes. A person checks every word.
- We keep your submission for 12 months after the story is published or closed, then delete it and your contact details.
- To change or withdraw your story, email imatx.sec@gmail.com with your reference number.
